<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of containing reduction of deterioration suppression effect at the time of starting of a fuel cell system and capable of preventing the starting time and the stopping time from becoming unnecessarily long. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system extracts electric current by operating a current extraction part 30 and closes an air system inlet valve 23 and an air system outlet valve 24 at the time of system stop. In particular, since the current is extracted after the air system inlet valve 23 and the air system outlet valve 24 are closed, the consumption of oxygen of the oxidizer electrode side can be made less compared with the case the current is extracted before these valves 23, 24 are closed, and shortening of the time required for the stopping process can be realized. Furthermore, since the oxidizer electrode side is regulated by the both valves 23, 24, the state of low oxygen by consumption of oxygen at the time of stopping the system can be maintained even at the starting time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
