<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently, stably operate a fuel cell by decreasing the uneven power generation on the surface of the fuel cell in a fuel cell separator. <P>SOLUTION: A groove for fluid of reaction gas forms a serpentine feel gas passage 35 in which a plurality of parallel passages are turned in a multistage way, and a ratio of a peak part 54 of the width of a groove 36 for fluid of a fluid downstream part to the width is made larger than a ratio of a peak part 52 of the width of a groove 54 for fluid in a fluid upstream part to the width.
