<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing press which enables the exact regulation a supply of an application liquid and transfer of a pattern having a necessary film thickness. <P>SOLUTION: A slit nozzle 11 is connected to a stay 41 and one end part of the stay 41 is supported turnably by a first supporting member 42. A nut 44 is attached to the first supporting member 42. This nut 44 is screwed on a ball screw 46 made to rotate by the drive of a first motor 45. The other end part of the stay 41 is so supported by a second supporting member 43 that it can be rotated and minutely moved in the longitudinal direction of the stay 41. A nut (not shown in Figure) is attached to the second supporting member 43. The nut is screwed on a ball screw made to rotate by the drive of a second motor 47.
