INTERIOR TRIM MATERIAL FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior trim for a vehicle capable of surely preventing the extrusion and flowing into hinge portions of molten resin upon vibration-welding.

SOLUTION: An interior trim body 1 has a double layer structure provided with an outer panel 2 and an inner panel 3 vibration-welded on at least a part of the outer panel 2. Protrusions 6 are installed in a protruding manner from at least either of the outer panel 2 or the inner panel 3 of the interior trim body 1 toward the other. Also the other is installed with recessed grooves 7 for accommodating the ends of the protrusions 6 in a depressed manner. The contractions formed by the protrusions 6 and the recessed grooves 7 prevent the molten resin generated upon vibration-welding from leaking out by more than necessary portions, thereby preventing the molten resin from extruding from the outer circumferential rim of the inner panel 3 and reducing manpower for removing resin burrs flowing into the gap 3f between open portions 3a and the hinge portions.
