<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically recognize the transfer speeds of a plurality of printers using the same control method and different printing speeds and enable transmission of print page data synchronized with the respective printing speed by using a common control board without intervention of software. <P>SOLUTION: A printer control device is provided with a horizontal synchronization signal cycle detection unit 10 which measures the cycle of a horizontal synchronization signal output from a printer and a print data synchronization signal generation device which generates a print data synchronization signal corresponding to the transmission speed of the print page data transmitted to the printer from the value measured by the horizontal synchronization signal cycle detection unit 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
