<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device and a communication apparatus for obtaining a reference clock with high reliability without using a crystal resonator. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit includes an antenna section 110 acting like a receiving means for receiving a radio wave transmitted from a standard frequency time signal station and generates the reference clock on the basis of a signal received by the antenna section 110. Thus, the reference clock with high reliability can be obtained without using the crystal resonator. Further, communication apparatuses each employing the semiconductor integrated circuit can prevent synchronization deviation by carrying out communication synchronously with the reference clock. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
