<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out inspection for securing a severe cross-sectional shape, in a determination line after correcting a bend. <P>SOLUTION: The inspection device 11 for a barstock comprises: three sleeves 12a-12c having an inside diameter including an allowance value for inspecting the bend of the barstock 1; the first housing 12d for fixing the sleeves 12a-12c, and divided to form cross sections along the axial centers thereof; a cylindrical gage 13a having an inside diameter including an allowance value, smaller than the allowance value hereinbefore, for inspecting an outside diameter; and the second housing 13b for fixing the cylindrical gage 13a. The first and second housings 12d, 13b are arranged with a prescribed space along a conveying direction of the barstock 1. The cylindrical gage 13a is provided in an upstream of the sleeves 12a-12c to bring the axial centers of the sleeves 12a-12c into the same line in the axial centers of the cylindrical gage 13a. Resultingly, the inspection for securing an upper limit dimension of the outside diameter is carried out on line concurrently with the inspection after correcting the bend. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
