<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for classifying data packets and for implementing security for computer network. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for inspecting data packets in a computer network, one or more data packets have an associated header data and contents. The method includes a step of receiving the data packets, a step of classifying the data packets by checking the data packets that includes classifying the data packets by using the information contained in the header and the contents, a step of determining a flow instruction for processing the packets based on both of the header information and the contents, and a step of processing the packets by using the flow instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
