PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since isolation at a specified frequency is improved in one switch circuit before and when two different kinds of frequencies are used for a wireless LAN, dedicated switch circuits need to be used respectively to make versatility worse.
SOLUTION: A resonance circuit is designed while a capacitor on a shunt FET in a shunt path being ON is taken into consideration. A switching element and the shunt FET, the shunt FET and a capacitor, and the capacitor and a ground terminal pad are arranged so as to be at distances of≤50μm adjacently to each other. Consequently, wirings connecting them each other can be minimized in inductance. A resonance frequency is set within a 5 GHz band, specifically, to 4 to 6 GHz. Consequently, a prescribed isolation level of≥-25 dB can be held within a band of 2 to 6 GHz.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
|
