PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compact a traveling reducer by means of a device for supporting a sprocket of a traveling reducer for a construction machine utilizing angular contact ball bearings, and further to elongate the life of the angular contact ball bearings. SOLUTION: The angular contact ball bearing 120 is assembled between the inner periphery of the sprocket 100 and the outer periphery of a housing 110. In both of the outer race 1 and the inner race 3 of the angular contact ball bearing 120, counter portions 7, 11 are formed on the opposite sides to their contact points a, b, c, d in the axial direction. In addition, in the state that the raceway surfaces 2, 4 have come into two point contact with the ball 6, clearances g1, g2 have been provided between the raceway surfaces on the center line C of the bearing and the ball 6.
