PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the seizure and wear of a joining surface of an arm assembly and shims by intensively supplying lubricating oil to the shims installed between a housing and the arm assembly. SOLUTION: The arm assembly 12 is rockably supported on a support shaft 7 of a valve gear and the shim 16 is installed between both end surfaces of the arm assembly 12 and bearing walls 4. An jetting out member 32 jetting out lubricating oil O and a collection wall 33 collecting jetted out lubricating oil O are provided above the arm assembly 12. An injection port 39 vertically injecting lubricating oil O toward the collection wall 33 and a jetting out port 40 obliquely jetting out lubricating oil O toward the collection wall 33 above the shim 6 are formed on a reservoir 35 of the jetting out member 32. Lubricating oil O dropped from the collection wall 33 is intensively supplied to the shim 16 and the joining surface of the shim 16 and the arm assembly 12 is forcibly lubricated.
