PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for correcting differential settlement by a long-term load, which restores a building, subjected to the differential settlement, to a horizontal state, when the building is subjected to the differential settlement. SOLUTION: The construction method for correcting the differential settlement by the long-term load comprises the steps of: mounting a loading supporting fitting for loading a weight on the side surface of the pressure-resistant foundation, on the other side of a place subjected to the differential settlement, of the building subjected to the differential settlement; and placing the weight on the loading supporting fitting according to the bearing power of soil in the place subjected to the differential settlement, so that the building is restored to the horizontal state.
