PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch which can be manufactured easily, has a small floor area, and is thin. SOLUTION: The switch includes a base 10 which allows at least one switchover stationary contact 25 to expose from the bottom face of the base 10, and has a recess with at least an opposed pair of side walls; an operating lever 30 rotatably supported on the side wall of the base 10; a slider 40 which is disposed to be slidable over the bottom face of the base 10, and is pushed by a cam 32 of the operating lever 30 to slide while being guided by the opposed side walls of the base 10; and a conductive coil spring 50 which is so disposed on the bottom face of the base 10 as to extend and contract when pushed by and released from the slider 40, has a one end side arm 53 disposed to be slidable over the bottom face of the base 10, and is capable of contacting and separating with and from the switchover stationary contact 25.
