EDI SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMMUNICATING BULK MESSAGE THEREIN

An EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) system and a bulk message communicating method thereof are provided to maximize a message communication efficiency even if a communication obstacle occurs during a message communication process, and minimize the size of transmitted data even if the communication obstacle occurs during a bulk message communication process. A sender MUA(Mail User Agent)(405) generates and transmits mail data. A receiver MUA(445) receives the mail data. An EDI device(420) is installed on a path for communicating the mail data, generates/transmits a TID(Transaction ID) to the sender MUA before the sender MUA transmits the mail data, and transmits the TID to the receiver MUA before the receiver MUA receives the mail data. The sender MUA transmits the remaining data by referring to the TID received from the EDI device and size information of the data completely received until transfer interrupt when transmission of the mail data is interrupted before all mail data is completely received.
