PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current collector that maintains a contact resistance low in the stoppage state, and causes no overheat state, even when especially a retention time is long or a stoppage location is irregular while a moving body is at rest. SOLUTION: A current collector for an insulated trolley wires includes a feeder portion, a sliding portion, and a case that covers the feeder portion and sliding portion. The current collector for an insulated trolley wires is characterized in that the feeder portion and sliding portion are separate, and there is provided, in the feeder portion, a member for pressing the feeder portion toward an insulated trolley wires in response to temperature changes of the feeder portion at opposing face side to a contact face with the insulated trolley wires.
