<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyrolytic furnace of excellent heat decomposability, dispensing with fuel for decomposing pyrolytically an organic compound. <P>SOLUTION: The pyrolytic furnace A magnetizes combustion air 41 introduced into a treating vessel 13 by a permanent magnet arranged inside a magnet housing 48, and is arranged with a punching metal using a support plate in the treating vessel 13 in a position separated from an inner wall of a side plate 11 excepting a lower part and an upper part of the side plate inner wall. The pyrolytic furnace A can decompose pyrolytically the organic compound fed into the treating vessel 13 at 1000°C-1500°C of high temperature, and is thereby excellent in the heat decomposability.
