METAL CAN HAVING THREE-DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY PART AND EMBOSSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent jamming or deformation caused by mutual interference when transferring a can or the like because a protruded display part does not protrude practically from the outer peripheral surface of a can trunk in spite of forming a three-dimensional display part which is appeared to be protruded and excellent in visibility on the outer peripheral surface of a metal can such as a drink aluminum can.

SOLUTION: A groove-shaped recess 11 is formed outside a contour line 10a while the top surface 10b of the display part 10 is positioned flush with the reference outer peripheral surface of the can trunk 2. The groove-shaped recess 11 makes an outer edge visually inconspicuous by forming a bottom wall surface 11b into a slanted surface with a gentle gradient toward the outside and allowing it to be smoothly continuous with the outer peripheral surface of the can trunk 2 through an arc-shaped connecting wall surface 11c.
