<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide manufacturing method that can obtain an optical waveguide capable of satisfactorily transmitting light without causing a diffusion layer interfering transmission of light to a core layer. <P>SOLUTION: A core layer 3 is formed by forming, on a substrate 1, an under-clad layer 2 and by using, on the under-clad layer 2, a photopolymerizable resin composition containing an epoxy compound having a fluorene skeleton. Then, in a manner covering the core layer 3 formed on the under-clad layer 2, an over-clad layer 4 is formed, wherein an essentially non-solvent setting resin composition is used for the formation of the over-clad layer 4. As a result, while a diffusion layer producing in the boundary with the over-clad layer 4 is prevented from forming in the core layer 3, the over-clad layer 4 is formed to manufacture the optical waveguide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
