One embodiment relates to an interactive user interface to navigate the financial relationships between companies. A focal company field lists a focal company identifier and a metric input field allows a User to select a focal company metric. A user uses a related company metric input field to select a related company metric. A positive correlation field lists identifiers positively correlated to the foc company metric and a negative correlation field lists identifiers negatively correlated to the focal company metric. Certain of the listed include a hyperlink which causes the identifier corresponding to the activated hyperlink to be listed as a new focal company in the focal company field, such that the positive correlation field lists identifiers positively correlated to the focal company metric of the new focal company and the negative correlation field lists identifiers negatively correlated to the focal company metric of the new focal company.
