A method of operating a solid-gas separator constructed from a vertically extending inner tube (10) having a closed lower end (11) and an open upper end (1) and from an outer tube (2) coaxially covering the inner tube (10) from the outside and having a gas vent (6) located on the upper end side of the inner tube and communicated with the outside.
