PLASMA DISPLAY APPARATUS

A plasma display device is provided to prevent image sticking by differently setting the number of sustain signals applied to a first electrode and the number of sustain signals applied to a second electrode. A plasma display panel(100) has a first electrode and a second electrode. A driver(110) applies sustain signals to the first and second electrodes in a sustain period, in which the number of the sustain signals applied to the first electrode and the number of the sustain signals applied to the second electrode are different from each other. While two consecutive sustain signals are applied to the first electrode, at least two sustain signals are applied to the second electrode. The driver sets the number of sustain signals applied to the first electrode and the number of sustain signals applied to the second electrode to be different from each other in a specific mode.
