<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select from a variety of movements when an HMI display component is moved along a predetermined course and displayed. <P>SOLUTION: This method for displaying the movement of a display component on a course is for displaying the movement of a display component along a course in accordance with at least position information about the position of the display component on a display screen and course information about the course on which the display component moves. When the display component is moved to and displayed at a certain position other than the position where it has started movement on the course, course information about a relative destination on the course is obtained from position information about the start point and the destination of the display component.
