<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure resistant bottle of a synthetic resin, which has a pressure resistance suitable for its usage as a bottle for carbonated drink and having a rectangular shape as its fundamental shape. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical barrel 3 of a pressure resistant bottle 1 comprises an upper rectangular column barrel part 11, a lower rectangular column barrel part 12 and a cylindrical barrel part 13 between them. The upper rectangular column barrel part 11 and the lower rectangular column barrel part 12 have a right rectangular column shape as their fundamental shape, and their four corner portions are rounded by arcuate surfaces 32(1) to 32(4). Annular reinforcing ribs 14(1) to 14(5) are formed at a certain interval at the portions along a direction of a bottle axis 1a. The reinforcing ribs have the same diameter as that of an inscribed circle of the right rectangular column shape, and the cylindrical barrel part 13 is also set to have the same diameter as that of the inscribed circle. It is possible to provide a pressure resistance bottle of synthetic resin having a pressure resistance required for a bottle for carbonated drink even though the right rectangular column shape is applied as a fundamental shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
