POROUS MOLDED ARTICLE AND HALF-SEALED CONTAINER COMPOSED OF THE SAME AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME MOLDED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive and heat-resistant vent cap replacing an existing vent cap using a PTFE nonwoven fabric and corresponding to environmental problems. SOLUTION: Pentaerythritol is melt-mixed with PBT and a third component and the mixture is extruded to form pellets and the pellets are used as a raw material and then molded into a vent cap-shaped material by injection molding and the vent cap-shaped material is immersed in water or warm water in order to extract a water-soluble component to produce a porous molded article. Since the molded article is obtained from a composition containing the third component, air permeation rate of the molded article after extraction with hot water is equivalent to that of the existing molded article.
