PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coke extruding method and a coke producing method capable of surely reducing the extruding load in the extrusion of a coke block out of a carbonization chamber of a coke oven and reducing the damage of the coke oven wall. SOLUTION: A coke block is extruded from a carbonization chamber of a coke oven with an extruding device while applying vibration to the coke block when the bottom temperature of the combustion chamber adjacent to the carbonization chamber is≤1000°C. As an alternative, the coke block is extruded under application of vibration when the bottom temperature of the combustion chamber adjacent to the carbonization chamber is≥1300°C, the bottom temperature difference between two combustion chambers adjacent to the carbonization chamber is≥100°C, the setting time exceeds 180 min, the water content of coal is≤6.0 mass% or the content of coal having particle diameter of≤3 mm is≤68 mass%.
