PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger which prevents leaking of a refrigerant to a header exterior. SOLUTION: A slit 15 for partition plate insertion is formed in the header of an applied condenser. A flange part 18 protruding in both thickness directions of a partition plate 7 and covering the slit 15 across both side portions of the slit 15 in the header 2 is formed from the slit 15 in the partition plate 7 to rim parts exposed to headers 2, 3 exteriors. An inner face of the flange part 18 is brazed to header 2, 3 outer faces. A flange part 18 outer face of the partition plate 7 is formed like a cylindrical face, a flat part 18a is formed in a center part of the flange part 18 outer face in a circumferential direction, and partial cylindrical face parts 18b with the same center O of curvature and the same radius of curvature are respectively formed on both sides of the flat face part 18a. In cross sectional faces of the headers 2, 3, the center O of curvature of the partial cylindrical face parts 18b is positioned on a center line X in a ventilation direction of the headers 2, 3.
