Use of a preparation containing eucalyptol/menthol for the production of medicament for combating and preventing virus infection and secondary bacterial infection, is claimed. ACTIVITY : Virucide; Antibacterial; Antiinflammatory; Respiratory-Gen; Ophthalmological. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Vaccine. The inhibitory activity of eucalyptol/menthol preparation against newcastle disease virus was tested in vitro. The result showed that the preparation (0.5%) inhibited the newcastle disease virus in 15 minutes.
