An inkjet print head and an image forming apparatus including the same are provided to reduce the amount of energy required for jetting ink droplets without causing electrical, chemical, and mechanical problems by making direct contact between a heater and ink without a passivation layer and an anti-cavitation layer. An inkjet print head comprises a substrate(111), a heater(113), an electrode(114), a chamber layer(120), and a nozzle layer(130). The heater, disposed on the substrate, is made of Pt-Ru alloy or Pt-Ir-X alloy to make direct contact with its heating part and the ink. The electrode, disposed on the heater, applies current to the heater. The chamber layer is deposited on the substrate having the heater and electrode thereon, wherein an ink chamber(122) is provided on the upper side of the heating part of the heater to contain ink to be jetted. The nozzle layer, deposited on the upper chamber layer, is provided with a nozzle(132) for jetting ink.
