An auction method is provided to offer the function of winning to the bidder wanting to increase a winning ratio by enabling the bidder to make lots of bids for one auction. A coupon used for the auction is disappeared when the coupon is multiplied by a predetermined multiple and the multiplied coupon is bidden(600). The coupon used for the auction is restored when the coupon is bidden without multiplication(700). The coupon includes expiration and the multiple is in proportion to a remaining period to the expiration from a bidding time. A user obtains the coupon by making the bid for other auctions, applying for a premium event, buying an article in a shopping mall, and/or subscribing for a charged member. |
