摘要 A turning radius reduction system for a vehicle is provided to decrease the turning radius of the vehicle by steering rear wheels in the direction opposite to the steering direction of front wheels by using a motor in full turn of the vehicle. A turning radius reduction system for a vehicle comprises a driving motor(3) installed at one side of the central portion of a vehicle body(1) and having a screw shaft(5) as a rotating shaft. Left and right screw housings(11,13) engage with the screw shaft(5) while being spaced apart from each other. A link member connects knuckles(15,17) to rotate left and right wheels(7,9) at a certain angle according to the operation of the driving motor(3). A steering sensor(27) detects a steering angle and outputs a steering angle signal. A controller(29) receives the steering angle signal from the steering sensor(27) to control the rotation of the driving motor(3).
