<p>A method of sending a session initiation protocol message from a source user agent to a destination user agent in a communications network, said method comprising the steps of: sending by the source user agent a first message, wherein said first message is a session initiation protocol message addressed to the destination user agent; intercepting the first message by an application server; encapsulating by the application server the first message inside the message body of a second message, wherein said second message is a session initiation protocol message comprising an indicator, said indicator indicating that said second message has a message body comprising another session initiation protocol message; sending the second message to the destination user agent; detecting by a parsing application the indicator in the second message; and parsing by the parsing application the second message to give the encapsulated first message, and providing the parsed second message to the destination user agent.</p> |
