Analysis system and method for analysing a sample on an analytical test element

The system has a test unit retainer (1) with guiding and locking parts (2, 3), where the guiding part has a guiding unit for guiding a test unit (4) into and from an analysis position. The locking part has a frame (5) and a locking unit (6) that are connected with each other by a film hinge (7). The locking unit is rotatable opposite to the frame around the hinge from one position to another position. The locking unit has a latch (8) for engagement into a recess (9) of the test unit in the former position, where the test unit is positioned in the analysis position. An independent claim is also included for a method of analyzing a sample on an analytical test unit.
