The preparation of a granulated sweetening composition involves triturating 100 parts of a physiologically acceptable salt, e.g. the calcium or sodium salt, of cyclohexylsulphamate with 5-20 parts of a physiologically acceptable saccharin salt, e.g. saccharin sodium, dissolved in 40-100 parts of a liquid containing 50-100% of a water-soluble, volatile organic solvent, e.g. ethanol, acetone, and 50-0% of water.
