A recording medium, a recording method thereof, and a recording device are provided to apply a new physical structure adequate to the recording medium like a BD(Blu-ray disc). A recording medium includes a plurality of recording layers. Each recording layer has an inner zone, a data zone, and an outer zone inside. The inner zone includes a test zone and a management zone in at least one area. The test zone and the management zone of the plural recording layers are not positioned at the same physical position. A recording method includes a step of reading information about a position of the test zone which is not positioned at the same physical position, from the management zone which is formed at the same physical position; and a step of performing a recording operation inside the recording medium by applying the most adequate recording power calculated at the test zone which is checked from the information about the position information.
