摘要 A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent the reduction of brightness by compensating for the voltage drop of driving current without changing the structure of driving voltage lines. A display device includes pixels(PX), data lines(D1-Dm), driving voltage lines, a gray scale voltage generator(800), and a data driver(500). The pixels, arranged in matrix, includes switching and driving transistors. The data lines, which are connected to the switching transistors, transmit data voltages. The driving voltage lines deliver driving voltages to the driving transistors. The gray scale voltage generator generates a reference gray scale voltage according to the voltage drop of the driving voltages. The data driver converts input image signals into the data voltages based on the reference gray scale voltage and applies the converted data voltages to the data lines.
