An antibiotic water pipe composition is provided to produce an antibiotic water pipe that prevents the propagation of bacteria in tap water even if backlogged water stays in the water pipe for a long time, and reduces the amount of chlorine used. An antibiotic water pipe composition comprises 99-99.7wt% of a PVC water pipe composition and 0.3-1wt% of an antimicrobial agent. The antimicrobial agent is obtained by mixing silver nanoparticles with an inorganic antimicrobial agent in a weight ratio of 40-60 : 60-40. The inorganic antimicrobial agent is prepared by substituting silica gel with metal ions such as silver, zinc, or copper. A method for preparing the antibiotic water pipe composition includes the steps of: charging 99-99.7wt% of the PVC water pipe composition and 0.3-1wt% of the antimicrobial agent into an agitator and mixing the admixture at 125-140 °C; and cooling the mixture to 40-70 °C.
