Method of treating oil waste from a gas turbine engine

The method involves passing an oil particle charged air flow into a coking box (20) through a heating unit, such that the air flow is heated to a predetermined temperature in a downstream of a gas turbine for coking oil particles contained in the air flow. The box is fixed on a central ventilation tube (9) to flow the air from the tube to the box. Solid residues produced by coking are collected in the coking box. An independent claim is also included for a gas turbine engine comprising an accessory driving gear box.
