A plasma display panel is provided to improve luminance and to reduce power consumption by lowering a firing voltage and configuring sub-pixels in a linear shape. A plasma display panel has a delta-type barrier rib structure. A plurality of discharge cells emit visible rays having same wavelengths and have a linear shape. The discharge cells are adjacent to each other via a barrier rib(40). The barrier rib separates the discharge cells. The barrier rib is in parallel with a pair of sustain electrodes. The pair of sustain electrodes are separated therefrom and formed in each discharge cell. The sustain electrode is comprised of a transparent electrode(80a) and a bus electrode(80a') formed on a portion of the transparent electrode. The discharge cells are in parallel with an address electrode.
