The piston is locked against rotation relative to a sensor (12) e.g. inductive sensor, where an axial position of the magnet and/or the piston is detected by the sensor that is arranged outside a friction clutch. The sensor is arranged in a housing of a gearbox, where the housing is formed from aluminum. A spring (8) is arranged between the piston and a cylinder base (7).
