An automatic transaction apparatus comprising recovery navigation function is provided to perform jam removal work certainly without not taking a remaining medium, by displaying the number and the kind of the medium remaining at every jam point. A return route transports medium inserted by a customer or pulled-out medium. A sensor detects the generation of jam of the medium on the return route. A recognition part discriminates authenticity and kind of the medium. A control part monitors the return state of the medium. A repair display part displays a navigation screen of jam removal work when the medium has jam. The control part collects the number of remaining medium per kind at every jam removal point on the return route, and displays the navigation screen on the repair display part on the basis of the collection result. |
