An exercise apparatus is provided to assist walking of the aged and rehabilitation patients by supporting weight of a user and helping the user to do many exercises safely and easily without the help of a guardian. An exercise apparatus includes: a frame(301) having a plurality of protuberances(302); and a safety jacket(10), which is constituted by a body(100) open in every direction, a pair of armpit supports(120) installed along a recessed groove on both sides of the body, more than four support belts(150), each having a lower end detachably being connected to both ends of the armpit support and an upper end being connected to the protuberances of the frame, and more than one fastening unit(170) to be attached to a user's body in a detachable manner.
