A display unit(402) displays information. A controller(401) displays guide information of processing a cable connection on the display unit(402). The controller(401) displays port image data indicating the shape of a plurality of ports as connection targets of a cable on the display unit(402), and displays cable image data indicating the shape of a corresponding cable suitable for a selected port. The controller displays external-device-terminal-image data on at least two external-device terminals that can be provided on an external device that is to be connected to the information-processing device by using the at least one cable on the display unit(402), and displays cable-image data on a cable ready for a selected external-device terminal based on information about the selected external-device terminal, the selected information being input by the user. |
