PURPOSE: To provide an electric reel having a display unit, designed to facilitate understanding data without enlarging the display unit. CONSTITUTION: This electric reel is so designed that an area 5c for showing the number of tiers of speed change is laid out on a display unit 5; wherein the area 5c means an area of showing speed change tiers corresponding to the increase/decrease of the rotating speed of a motor, and 15 rectangular cell areas 50 are arranged longitudinally, and 5 identical patterns 60 each with three of the cell areas 50 differing in shape from each other as a set are arranged longitudinally, the cell areas 50 are arranged in the same direction as the direction of arranging the patterns 60, and the cell areas 50 within the patterns 60 are arranged so that the shape thereof gets larger in the transverse direction different from the arrangement direction of the patterns 60. |
