A SHORT DIALING AND COLLECTCALL SERVICE SYSTEM AND THE METHOD THEREOF

A personalized collect-call type abbreviated number service supply system and an operation method thereof are provided to previously obtain a receiver's permission for a collect call, and to perform communication according to the permission, thereby omitting a process of the receiver confirming a caller and a troublesome process of the caller obtaining the receiver's permission for each call. A wired/wireless telephone(100) enables a caller to receive a collect call service. A wired/wireless telephone provider exchange(200) recognizes that a signal for demanding a collect-call type abbreviated number service is inputted, and connects with a corresponding communication provider's exchange(400). If a call is received from the exchange(200), the exchange(400) confirms whether the caller is a customer who finishes abbreviated number service registration. If so, the exchange(400) calls a receiver by downloading the receiver's telephone number corresponding to an abbreviated number previously registered in a customer DB(340). If the caller is the customer, a data system(300) searches the DB(340) to provide the receiver's telephone number to the exchange(400). A receiver's wired/wireless telephone(500) performs communication with the caller in collect call type.
