A multi-screen display device for a digital broadcasting receiver and a method thereof are provided to display broadcasting data of at least two service channels on the multi-screen of one display unit. A broadcasting receiving unit(110) receives broadcasting data of a set main service channel and at least one sub service channel. A decoding unit(130) includes a video decoder and an audio decoder. The video decoder performs the time division of a frame period per each frame and decodes all frame video data of the main service channel and video data of a set frame of the sub service channel. The audio decoder decodes audio data of a predetermined service channel. A multi-screen processing unit(140) multiplexes and outputs the video data of the decoded main and sub service channels to be capable of being displayed on a multi-screen. A display unit(150) displays the video data outputted from the multi-screen processing unit(140) on the multi-screen. A speaker(155) reproduces the decoded audio data.
