A water purifier is provided to produce an alkali ice even without using a separate cooling unit, by using an immersion type ice making unit for making an alkali ice. A water purifier(100) comprises a filter unit(10) for purifying raw water, a purifying tank(20) for storing the purified water, an immersion type ice making unit(40) for making alkali ice by cooling the purified water supplied from the purifying tank or using alkaline water supplied from an electrolyzing tank, and a cooling water tank unit(50) for storing the cooled water. The cooling water tank unit includes a cooling water tank(52) installed below the immersion type ice making unit, a grill(54), and a circulation pump(56). The grill is slopingly installed above the cooling water tank. The cooled water is dropped through penetration holes of the grill and the alkali ice is moved to an ice storage tank along a sloping surface of the grill. The cooled water stored in the cooling water tank is circulated to the immersion type ice making unit by the circulating pump.
