A carrier tape manufacturing method is provided to shorten the production time by performing the processes for cutting and boring a raw sheet of a carrier tape by one device. A carrier tape manufacturing method for producing plural carrier tapes having an electronic product receiving hole and a carrier tape transfer hole, from raw sheets of the carrier tape comprises the steps of: supplying the raw sheet of the carrier tape; boring the receiving hole and the transfer hole through each region corresponding to the carrier tape; forming each carrier tape by cutting the raw sheet of the carrier tape having the receiving hole and the transfer hole; and winding the carrier tape around a winding reel. The raw sheet with the width of 167mm is used to form twenty carrier tapes with the width of 8mm.
