A multi-screen display device for a digital broadcasting receiver and a method thereof are provided to display broadcasting data of a main service channel and at least one sub service channel selected by a user on a multi-screen of one display unit. A broadcasting receiving unit(110) receives burst data of a set main service channel and at least one sub service channel. A protocol processing unit(120) extracts video and audio data of the service channels. A decoding unit(130) includes a video decoder and an audio decoder. The video decoder performs the time division of a frame period per each frame and decodes video frame data of the main and sub service channels. The audio decoder decodes audio data of a predetermined service channel. A multi-screen processing unit(140) multiplexes and outputs the decoded video data of the main and sub service channels to be capable of being displayed on a multi-screen. A display unit(150) displays the video data outputted from the multi-screen processing unit(140) on the multi-screen. A speaker(155) reproduces the decoded audio data.
