A method for setting up a central frequency in a communication system is provided to reduce costs for realizing hardware by setting an integer difference of a central frequency. A method for setting up a central frequency in a communication system includes the steps of: setting up the central frequencies. The central frequencies are set up in first and second bands separated by a protective band in the communication system. A difference of the central frequencies of the first and second bands is to be an integer value of a subcarrier interval.
