A water level sensing apparatus for control of a submerged pump is provided to prevent a malfunction by stopping operation of a water pump upon detecting a low water level. A water level sensing apparatus for control of a submerged pump includes a current detecting unit(110), a tank water level detecting unit(130), a control unit(100), a water level controlling and setting unit(120), and a display unit(140). The current detecting unit detects amperage of a water pump installed in a well. The tank water level detecting unit detects a low level and a high level in a tank filled with the water pumped by the water pump. The control unit calculates a current of the water pump detected in the current detecting unit in a set water level. The water level controlling and setting unit sets the water level set by the control unit as a current value. The display unit displays an operation state according to the operation of the control unit.
